Pastoral Care

In addition to pastoral care provided by our minister, our congregation supports a group that provides many caring services for those in need. Group members visit shut-ins, send cards to those who are ill, offer communion at Providence Manor, deliver poinsettias for shut-ins at Christmas, and host a spring communion tea. The group also alerts the minister about pastoral care needs. Join us if you like to assist in providing care to those in need. For more information please call the church office at 613.542.9616.

Each Sunday a flyer will be included in the Bulletin about our caring community, culminating in a Lunch after Worship on Sunday, October 30 to discuss ideas and suggestions to make SSUC more caring and compassionate.
